HISTORY: MORE THAN 40 YEARS OF TOOL DEVELOPMENT
| 1964 | Founded on 1 April 1964, by Mr. Erwin Zecha, at his own house. He first focused on the production of special carbide tools for the cutting and punching applications. |
| 1972 | Erection of the first new building with an area of 450 sqm. |
| 1985 | Employees: 18 Stefan Zech started in his parents' company, and a special centreless grinding department was established. |
| 1991 | Introduction of first CNC grinding technologies. |
| 1992 | Employees: 19 The building was extended to 1.000 sq.m., and the focus shifted towards the punching technology products. |
| 1994 | Own exhibition stand for more fair activities. |
| 1995 | Employees: 28 Stefan Zecha took over his parents' company. |
| 1996 | Reiner Kirschner built up their own distribution system. |
| 1999 | Employees: 51 Sales proportions: Punching tools: 55% Cutting tools: 40% Two production lines: A manual line for short run and "rush jobs", and a CNC line for two-shift production. Introduction of a PPS system. |
| 2000 | Employees: 70 The building was now extended to a total area of 2,600 sq.m., and the centreless grinding and CNC grinding departments were also enlarged. The company was split into a GmbH (limited company) and a GbR (unincorporated civil-law association), and Reiner Kirschner appointed manager and partner, respectively. |
| 2002 | Employees: 75 The company's structure was reorganized, a storage area for standard punching tools established, and the company's specialization in the field of micro-cutting technology was advanced. Introduction of a CNC profile grinding centre. |
| 2004 | Employees: 80 Introduction of the "genius III micro" measuring machine, with which the smallest tools can be measured in 3D , fully automatically, contact-free and µ-precise. |
| 2006 | Employees: 85 Introduction of our highest precision milling tools for the processing of graphite, copper and other hard material. For standard tools our endurance is currently unrivaled. |

For more than 40 years, Zecha Tungsten Carbide Tool Manufacturers has been setting standards as manufacturer and supplier of tungsten carbide tools for renowned companies worldwide. As an innovative company we believe in a continuous development process to improve the productivity of our customers.
Since the company was founded in 1964, Zecha Tungsten Carbide Tool Manufacturers has been growing steadily. Today, 94 employees take care of the needs of our customers and offer them all their expertise and know-how: Highest quality cutting tools as well as blanking and forming tools, accompanied by individual advice and customer service before and after product purchase.
Zecha's origin lies in the clock manufacturing industry, which explains the company's strict focus on micro tools. Today, experts of the internal technology department develop the latest geometries and tools for various industries and unique application purposes. In doing so, we attach great importance to closely working with our customers and long-term relationships with our suppliers.
