Since its foundation, ZECHA has remained true to its own core competencies and has constantly developed and optimized itself.

  • Founded on 1 April 1964, by Mr. Erwin Zecha, at his own house. He first focused on the production of special carbide tools for the cutting and punching applications.

  • 18 employees
    Stefan Zecha joins his parents’ Company.

  • Introduction of the first CNC modern grinding technologies.

  • Stefan Zecha takes over his parents’ Company.

  • Reiner Kirschner joins the company and takes over the stamping and forming section.

  • For the first time ZECHA trains someone to be a toolmaker.

  • 51 employees
    Introduction of a PPS System.
    Start of Indo German Cooperation with Dagger Master Tools Limited.

  • The building expanded to a total of 2600 m².
    Appointment of Reiner Kirschner as Managing Director.

  • Introduction of the measuring technology with which the smallest tools can be measured in 3D, fully automatically, contact-free and µ-precise.

  • Introduction of our highest precision milling tools for the processing of graphite, copper and other hard material as well as 100% end control and inscribing of all tools with a life-long number.

  • Introduction of the nano-cutting technology and investment in an REM measurement device for comprehensive tool Analysis.

  • A greater international focus through building up our own marketing operation abroad and the expansion of technological marketing at home.  
    Customer proximity and product-specific know-how is thereby ensured.

  • ZECHA celebrates its 50th anniversary.
    The company buildings are extended to include a logistics center for our extensive catalog range.

  • Start with the high precision laser machining center LaserSmart 500. Introducing state-of-the-art technology enables machining finest structures and ultra-hard materials such as CBN, CVD, PCD, MCD and natural Diamond.

  • Further expansion of the company building in Stein.
    Founding of AlienTools GmbH as a sales organization for ZECHA dental cutters

  • Greater international focus on the Asian market by renaming Dagger Master Tools Limited to ZECHA PRECISION TOOLS LIMITED.

  • ZECHA wins State Innovation Award 2021 with innovative IGUANA technology.

     

  • ZECHA receives the TOP 100 Award for outstanding innovation management.
